Emergency Management Incident Command Seminar
PARTICIPANTS
This three-day seminar will prepare police managers and supervisors to successfully establish and manage an incident command situation (SEMS/LEICS). Current methods of addressing terrorism and weapons of mass destruction will be explored. Highly relevant information will be furnished in a dynamic and interactive fashion, using audio-visual presentations and structured learning exercises.
CONTENTS
To enable participants to:
- Comply with mandated Standardized Emergency Management System requirements (SEMS).
- Utilize the Law Enforcement Incident Command System (LEICS).
- Identify current issues of terrorism and weapons of mass destruction.
- Command multi-jurisdictional and multi-agency incidents.
- Create Incident Action Plans.
- Anticipate problems common to certain types of incidents and events.
- Manage agency representation/public information functions.
